Kate, a simple waitress was taken in Blind Suffering book 1, as a pawn in the Government opposition's game to prevent an important, but unpopular, female candidate being elected. Kate is stripped, secured and used to the point of losing hope before she is released and given a partial memory erasing. The distraction of a teen girl being abducted serves its public purpose.
A short while later, in book 2, poor Kate is then taken by Government officials who want to know why she was taken, where she was taken and, being convinced she is also part of the opposition's organisation, what information she knows. Does Kate know anything? She cannot recall and having once again had her memory erased, Kate is freed but this time she is being monitored and tracked ... or is she simply going insane.
Enjoy the book ... reading books 1 and 2 first will give further background but is not essential.
