This 'horror' story follows a 16-year-old girl named Calamity Daegenheart who suffered from severe trauma after a fatal car-accident killing her parents over 5 years ago. She now lives in "Whispering Pines Hospital  for the mentally disturbed". Though doctors may not know yet, Calamity is seeing things, hearing things, and feeling things other have never experienced though she does have friends form what she sees. Her guide, Enwarn helps through what she sees. Throughout her journey, and possibly even warping through time and space,she finally discovers her sanity.
