Elizabeth Becker (Liz) can't wait for 9th grade. She has had an amazing past involving her overprotective, caring family, her love for softball, and her true best friend Abby Lowen. She has never had a crush due to the fact that she thinks that boys are full of themselves. Her overprotective dad won't let her out if the house without his permission, has her curfew at 9:30 pm, and is not allowed with boys in anyway alone.

Will her opinion against boys change during her high school year because of Lucas Chapman (Luke)? Or will she find another person who she falls for?
