When Mycroft contacts Sherlock and John to investigate an alien known as the Doctor, it's the chance of a lifetime for them to discover strange new worlds, explore the past, and connect. As for the Doctor, he gets more than he bargained for. (Series/Season 1 for both shows, will progress. Johnlock, Doctor/Rose, other than that, I don't know. Surprises/canon change in store.)
