Daisy was 4 years old when she went to an orphanage. She was shy, cute,and innocent. Her parents disappeared and she woke up in a police officers arms. She was scared when he carried her out, the last thing she saw as they walked through the door was the claw marks across the entrance and the walls. Also a lot of blood on the floor. If that doesn't scare a four year old then I don't know what does. But she was shaking in fear. She started crying and throwing a fit.
The orphanage wasn't so bad at first. But as the little girl sat their while everyone else got taken to new places she became sad. Then a wonderful family comes and gets her. She was so happy. She was really excited. She was almost at home when she got returned to the orphanage because of the father dying and the mother ill. She became sad. She hugged her little baby bear and cried. She was 8 when she got sent to a foster care system in Virginia from Wyoming. Her first foster home wasn't so great but they kept her and her life went downhill. What happens when someone else comes along and she finds out a secret later on in her little life?

Outside the walls
War had just broke out between the states of America. Two states remained. Yet only one wins. One state had won by peace and one state had won by destruction. Belle get detention for no reason and she's always tired and pale when she comes home. Adam and his husband get very worried about her, but she assures them that everything is fine. At the same time there's murder in the town and it always takes place at night. His two youngest kids have nightmares at night and don't remember anything in the morning. In a dystopian world, where the strongest prevails, having peace is a luxury. Especially when someone from the past is out to destroy everything we have built up over the past 15 years. And with Christmas approaching, our group get to face ten hellish days. Preview: In his fury, the chains have rubbed his wrists and neck raw, despite me trying to calm him down. He suddenly calms down when the screams in the cell next to us switch to the sound of bones breaking. Now he sits with foam on his lips and his eyes wide, looking that way. After ten minutes, the sounds of the boys in our cell have died down, and we all look at the wall that separates us from the crackling of the breaking bones. And then suddenly all is quiet. After a few silent minutes, our cell door opens slowly. From the ball of light from the ceiling, the little girl in the doorway is illuminated. She is completely covered in blood and doesn't move. Then she opens her eyes and carefully walks towards us. And despite everything, my first impulse is to crawl backwards, away from the unnatural calm radiating from her. ------------- After reading yet another great older brothers/younger sister story, where the family gets reunited after years of separation, the sister keeps the secret that she was abused and assaulted all along, and the brothers conceal their work in the mafia, I decided to give it also a try. The output of my story was initially to turn this around with openness and unconditional support and the torture should happen right in front of their very eyes. Because no story is complete without the (un)necessary bloodshed, action, humour and, of course, a bad guy. And who knows, to throw everything completely upside down, the main character may not survive. I won't write warnings above each chapter, because most of them contain violence, blood, torture, etc. Constructive criticism is welcome. Ow, and English is not my first, second or third language. So if I mess up somewhere, let me know!

"Blaze?" He says and I hate it. I hate how he says my name as if it's his. Like he knows it's the only thing I want to hear, him calling out to me, looking at me, focused to me. It's the first time in my life I wanted someone's attention so badly I didn't care how I got it. And that was too dangerous for me to hold onto. "Are you insane or some shit? I could have killed you!" He says and starts to walk towards me. I take a big breath and step back away from him, "s-stop! Axel," I stutter still panting. It's then he notices the blood on my hands and shirt. "Is that blood?" He asks staring at my shirt and I take another step back. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it.
