The symptoms of the disease are summarized to strong pain, having flowers blooming in the heart and lungs, and then throwing them up. The disease begins with coughing up a few petals and growing in intensity (and pain) until the victim is vomiting entire flowers, by which point the disease has entered its final stages... She was traumatized by the loss of her mother and sister causing her to create Raven as a way to cope with the trauma. However, her trauma only worsened when she got older. No one helped her and this made her turn her back to everyone, scared to trust anyone knowing that there's a possibility that they'll neglect her again. From outside her perfectly barricaded self, one person tried to reach out to her. That person was the new principal of their school. Toya and Akito have been singing with eachother for a very long time. They even consider one another their best friend. But Akito doesn't know if what he's feeling is exactly that of which a friend feels toward another friend. Akito wants to be with Toya until he dies. He wants to hold him, kiss him, talk with him for hours even days on end. He just doesn't know it yet. He can't or simply is ignoring how's he feeling in fear that if he acknowledges his feelings they'll grow and he may ruin the friendship he has with Toya. Toya is more of the quiet type but when around Akito he feels so safe. He can speak freely and expresses his emotions more outwardly when with Akito. He feels so at ease when he's with him, as if all the pressure being put on him from mainly his father just goes away. He wants to stay with Akito forever but he's terrible with emotions and can't tell if what he's feeling is romantic or platonic.
