Mirror Moon: A Wolfstar Fanfic
Sirius Black has been disowned, Remus Lupin is struggling with the reality of being a werewolf. Neither of them knows what their futures hold. When Remus doesn't show up at Hogwarts, Sirius is faced with the challenge of moving past old quarrels and helping his friend. Is he worthy of Remus? Is he worthy of his friends? Warnings: Some homophobia, implied childhood abuse, physical fighting, coming out Exciting update! Part 2: Sirius and Remus are in love, but the world is shifting, and the Marauders are growing older. Soon, they will have to leave Hogwarts and find their own way through the world among the growing turmoil in the wizarding community. These are stories of love, friendship, family, and sometimes pain that shape the Marauders during their final years at Hogwarts and beyond. Most of what you are about to read was written around three years ago during a difficult period in my life. I won't go into the details of such things here, but I can say that writing about the Marauders, often daily at the time, was an escape for me and what was initially a plan for a cohesive second installment of my "Mirror Moon" story quickly changed into something that resembled a collection of moments. I figured I'd never be able to share it because the story doesn't run smoothly, but when I opened the document today and saw that I'd written over 170,000 words, I knew that I needed to comb through it and find the individual stories within. All I hope is that these stories can bring you joy, entertainment or even just a short escape as they did for me all those years ago.
Ad Infinitum (Remus Lupin X Reader)
• ad infinitum • (adv.) again and again in the same way; forever • ••• "You touch your eyebrow when you're thinking," I said. "And you chew on your lip," he said, meeting my eyes. I looked away quickly. He stood from his chair, walking closer to me. "Does it not hurt to chew on it all the time?" "No, it doesn't," I said, looking to my feet. It was too difficult to make eye contact with him, especially when he stood so close to me. "I don't touch my eyebrow," he said quietly. "I touch the scar." I nodded, feeling my mouth go dry. "We all have our quirks," he said. "And I feel yours is more destructive than mine, Miss Y/L/N." "It's not destructive, not really. I know what hurts and what doesn't," I rambled, peeking up at him, finding his eyes heavy on my face. I averted my eyes. "Look at you," he muttered. "You can't even look at me." I felt as though my entire body was trembling as his hand grazed mine. "I thought you weren't shy, Miss Y/L/N," he said quietly. ••• How do you describe perfection? Imperfections that you wouldn't mind dealing with for the rest of your life; ad infinitum. Y/N Y/L/N is the newest hire at Hogwarts. Having graduated from Ilvermorny, she struggles to find a teaching job. After all, the demand for Latin teachers isn't all that high. But she manages to secure a job at Hogwarts where she'll be a teacher's assistant. Little does she know, she'll be a whole lot more. Immediately, she is drawn to the newest professor at Hogwarts, a kind if not sullen man. The job that she only took out of necessity becomes something that she wouldn't trade for anything. (Previous title: "Sunshine - A New Dawn for Remus Lupin") Remus Lupin survived a war, raised a son, and went back to teaching. He wasn't planning to fall in love again-especially not with his new best friend. Mary Scamander is brilliant, warm, and just chaotic enough to keep him on his toes. But grief is complicated, and feelings are messy. Luckily, Teddy has a plan. Or many. (Unfortunately, most of them are disasters.) NOTES: This story is a remake for my fanfiction "A New Dawn". 1. This my lightest fanfic ever, despite it's sad first chapters. 2. Please, bear in mind that English's not my first language, so I apologize for any mistakes or errors. 3. I don't usually go against canon. However, the idea of Lupin surviving, even with his spirit appearing to Harry, fits perfectly with the concept of a coma and could have happened. We can fit it into canon. I absolutely adore Tonks with all my heart, but I've had a crush on Remus Lupin ever since I read The Prisoner of Azkaban almost 20 years ago, before seeing the film. Back then, I used to write fanfics (during classes!!! Oops! Even so, I still got good grades! haha) about Remus Lupin and a character entirely inspired by me, called Mary Hallow. In one of those fanfics, set in the Marauders' era and called "Memories of a Marauder Wolf" -which I'm currently trying to rewrite, but it hasn't been easy-I worked through my teenage traumas with the story I wrote. Although nowadays I only read and write 'Remadora' fanfics (Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks), I decided to revisit Mary Hallow to work through my adult traumas (or as I like to say, 'exorcise my demons'). So, even though this Mary Hallow no longer has a certain issue that defined her in my older fanfics, many of the things in the story are-once again-things I personally experienced. Basically, it's just another 'fanfic' to complement my therapy sessions. LOLComplete

Dear reader, If you've come across this little story, then I'm glad that I have at least had to chance to explain myself to one person. I'm not here to justify my actions nor am I here to tell you that I am good or even worth anything at all, but let me at least explain my side of the story.
