Her only option is to continue working as a "wage-slave" in the horrible conditions of the closest manufacturing factory and hope for a brighter future. 

The 1920's also marked the beginning of the Prohibition Era, an effort for an improvement in a declining society. With the outlawing of alcohol, bootleggers began to rise. In New York City, one of the most notorious leaders of the underground business is Johnny Nelson. The Nelson empire was built from the first days that prohibition was out into effect. But with so much success, something was bound to go wrong...
