Lynetta and Joshua Yami, are twins, born a couple of minutes apart, Lynetta at 12:05 am on January 1st 1999 and Joshua at 11:59 pm on December 31st 1998.

Growing up in Burkindale, Colorado, they had always been made fun of for their Japanese-American heritage. To the natives it was wrong to have hybrids of the very different cultures to mix, no one really understood it. 

Because of their differences between them, the Yami family was put down time and time again, with their mother being American and their father being Japanese they grew up having two very different sides of family.

When the Yami kids are suspected of killing their parents, that happened forever ago, they have to dodge every attack that the police shoot at them and all of the accusations that the locals scream in their face...
