Coraline Crane is just a fifteen year-old girl from District 4. Ever since the failed rebellion, now known as the second Dark Days, occurred, things have not gotten any better. If anything, they have gotten worse. Though so many in from her district are Careers, Coraline has never had interest in preparing herself for a fight to the death. And what's worse--the Peacekeepers have declared there can be no volunteers. So when Coraline is suddenly thrust into her biggest nightmare, the Hunger Games, she is alone. Suddenly, she knows she has to fight to win. That is, until her brother is chosen as the male tribute.
