Kasey Morella, or Scar, is secretive, lonely, and deadly. Kasey and her sister, Tay, ran away from home two years after their mother died and their father became abusive. Now living on the streets and trying to keep themselves safe, as well as go to school, Kasey has yet one more problem: Max, the golden god-like perfection that follows her around like a lost puppy dog. He’s been pinning for her -none too secretly, either- since the day she crashed into him walking out of class.
