Chelsea lets go of her ear and she sighs.
Julia: So yeah, Chelsea thinks all the saved stories are pressuring us both to quickly write them and shit like that...
Chelsea giggles but then rolls her eyes.

It's the first day of June's senior year and everything is already going wrong. Instead of falling into a deep dark pit of self pity (however tempting that may sound), all of this betrayal ends up leading her to the best friends she's ever had and the most exciting school year of her life.
