3 women expectantly find themselves in a world they read about in books. They end up helping a company of 13 dwarves and a wizard along with their new friend and father figure, Bilbo Baggins. These women all feel connected to middle earth and don't know why. They each have secrets that they keep from the rest in hopes of them finding out the truth about who they are and why they feel more at home. They all happen to find their real family but one of them learns a powerful secret about them. What is even more complicated is that they fall in love and try to run away because they know that they wont be staying long yet a part of them wants to know what will happen if they give in to their feelings? How will they handle what they are and What will they choose? Will they fight for what they want or will they run away, hurting themselves and the ones they love? This is a fanfic. All of the credit goes to JRR Tolkien and Peter Jackson. I don't own anything except Renee, Katherine and Lilith. Also this is my first fanfic so bare with me. I also got the inspiration from The three women of Durin. Please go and read it because it is absolutely amazing. So enjoy. I will update at least twice a week. A/N: It was before Christmas 2014 when I first watched BBC's Emma with Romola Garai (wonderful, by the way - watch it if you haven't). A few days later I went to see The Hobbit BOTFA on its opening night. It was during a car trip from a family Christmas party when I came up with idea for this story. And while it doesn't follow the Jane Austen classic completely (Thranduil is no Mr. Knightley!), it was certainly inspired by it. I enjoyed the challenge. Narn I Tinuviel (The Tale of the Nightingale) by SamPettus

A prose re-telling of J.R.R. Tolkien's Lay of Leithian, this relates the full story of the love and labors of Beren and Luthien in the First Age of Middle-earth. This is aimed primarily at Tolkien fans who want the full story but who do not want to read the original Lay. I have tried to keep my own intrusions to the minimum necessary in order to keep the story moving, and I have also tried to capture both the style and spirit of the original Lay in prose form as much as possible. I have used other sources, most notably The History of Middle-earth book series, for where the Lay ends uncompleted. This manuscript was originally completed in 1997, revised considerably in 2009, and is returning to the Internet in 2017 after an eight-year hiatus. It is my gift to Tolkien fandom. No infringement intended and implied (and all that), and I hope it remains both free and freely available to all from now on.
