In the close future, 0.3% of earth's population was genetically modified to be able to transform into different animals. Their descendants have the power to transform into one animal, and rarely 2.  On the12th birthday of these descendants they disappear. No one knows why and where they go, and it's become a modern legend.
Unbeknownst to the general public, they get put into training in a secret location to harness their powers. After that, they have a choice; either stay in their community and hide their powers or else they can go through a portal to another world where they can bring nothing but what they are wearing with them. This story is about Cecelia and Emily, two unlikley freinds stuck in the same situation. As they make their way through this program, they must make difficult choices that will affect them for the rest of their lives.All Rights Reserved
