Annalina Estrada used to be in a band with her three best friends: Colton, Eric, and the guy who made her feel things she couldn't explain, Gabriel.
That was until they left without a goodbye or an explanation. They went to the United States and formed their own band, and became an instant sensation.
Annalina, heartbroken, decides to get revenge. Gone is the easy manipulated girl and taking her place is a gorgeous and confident woman who doesn't let anybody step over her.
She decides to audition for a well-known singing competition that is broadcasted all over the world, in which she plans to win and destroy The United Three, in which her ex-best friends are now apart of.
What she didn't know, was that the band will be the guest judges of the competition, and will also be part of the prize; they will fund the winner and produce their first album, and have him\or her be the opening act of their world tour.
But this wont stop Annalina, because The One They Left Behind is back. And she's here for good.

"And why is it you don't want to work with anyone in the band?" "I don't like anyone." I said simply. "And that is the point of doing this group activity. But now let me ask you two questions. One, Why do you put up with band if you don't like anyone? And Two, Why don't you like anyone else?" Ms. Emma asked me, leaning a bit forward in her seat meaning she expects an answer from me. "I put up with band because I love my grandma and she was always telling me to be a trumpet. She died about a year ago and I just want to honor her memory" I say looking down. "I'm so sorry Jace." Ms. Emma says, and I look up to see an emotion I hate. Empathy. I don't want her sympathy. So I changed the topic and answered the second question. "And I don't like the band because they all like her. The weirdo. She's always happy, always talking with everyone as if they are the most special person in the world, she's happy about playing more music than any of us needs to. She's so weird that it's like she's popular. She's not normal, not right. All I want to say is pair me up with anyone but her. I hate her, Ms. Emma." Ms. Emma just looks at me like I am the weird one. "And who, pray tell, is that Jace?" I was a little shocked she didn't know. Or maybe she did and she wanted to hear me say it. So I said her name just to make her happy. "Astrid." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jace Vaughn hates Astrid. All because she is weird. Or maybe he is jealous because of how "easy" her life seems to be. He's always getting bullied by his supposed loved ones, and his favorite person in the world left him unwillingly. When a band project and a few mean words make Jace and Astrid's fates intertwine, can Jace forget his hate and learn to be friends with a musically nerdy girl? and maybe, just maybe, can he learn to love again?

"'I'm still in love with you!" The choir suddenly stopped and the tension cracked with the silence of the crowd. The bride, the epitome of Cinderella, turned corpselike, tears ashen as they fall to the floor. And that's when I noticed the jilted groom. He cleaned up nicely, and carried himself with poise even in such conditions, but there were fragments of displeasure written along the lines of his brows, and eyes buried with a shade darker than his tuxedo. He caught my guilty eyes with his, realizing just who I was. I knew him, more so than the regular townsfolk. Travis Garver shared the same tragic memory I had sought to forget about. I ran backwards as fast as I could with four inch heels, tossing dignity to the side; I ran through the double doors of the building, the church bells of the entryway singing me a lullaby as I left. It was as if, in a twisted moment of fate, I was Cinderella.' ** '"Come on, you're the best at what you do. I wouldn't have asked if I didn't trust you." Breaking up your best friend and her boyfriend had to be easy, right? I never liked him anyway, so this was going to be a piece of cake. I'd do it for my best friend, and hey, if a few more people need my help with their failed relationships along the way, who was I NOT to mess it up, too? They can thank me later.' -- SUMMARY: Dani Rose Cooper hasn't been in her hometown of Cope since her brother's passing, but a call from her longtime friend for a request she cannot reject has her packing her bags and jetting down south. Dani is about to get more than she bargained for. With over-expecting friends, a mother who just found out her daughter dropped out of college, and a few unbaring men, what could go wrong? "Fuck." He whispers into my neck, sending a thrill of excitement through my body. His lips still smothered kisses over my neck and his hands roamed my body, starting at my chest, going down to my stomach. Caressing my soft skin, his thumb trailed circles on my groin before slightly slipping into the waistband of my jeans. My breath catches in my throat as I pull at the hoodie that covered his chiselled body. Understanding, Jacob pulls it off in one swift movement before attaching his lips back on my neck. Sucking and biting it before flicking his tongue over the sore spot. A quiet moan leaves my mouth and I clasp my hand over it, denying any noise to escape. "You drive me fucking crazy, Aria." ---------------------------- Aria Bailey finds it hard to fit in. Her parents are always busy and never have time for her. She lives alone at her family home and has top grades in all of her classes. But being a 17 year old friendless nerd comes with its disadvantages. The bullying gets worse every single day, driving her to self harm and suicidal thoughts. Aria learns more about popular boy, Jacob Rickson and starts developing feelings for the well known 18 year old. Jacob helps her come out of her shell and learn to be more comfortable and confident. Aria has to make a tough decision by choosing if she would rather be with Jacob and be bullied by her mind for eternity, or to leave and be left alone, exactly how she wants to be. -Strangers to lovers -Right person, wrong time
