Four hundred years ago, a new system was put into place. It was called the Survival Rating, or the SR.
It was said to determine who could survive in humanity's harshest situations. If you scored between 80 and 100, you were free. You would live a life of luxury and peace, protected by the military's finest soldiers. The higher your number, the more protection you have.
But if you scored anything else, you were doomed to the Barren. Your life would became a constant battle against all the monsters waiting outside the protected community of the priveledged. Essentially, you were there as bait.
You weren't deemed fit to survive, and now you must keep the monsters at bay by becoming their prey.
Nobody gets out of the Barren. Nobody escapes the Nest.
Unless you know the secret.

"Daddy, please don't turn off the lights. The monsters will find me." Ana pleaded as she pulled the covers up to her nose. "Don't worry, Ana. There's no such thing as monsters." Frank answered before flexing dramatically, earning a giggle from her, "Besides, if they tried to hurt you, I'd just beat 'em up!" "Promise?" "Promise." He kissed her forehead before he tucked her in and turned off the light. "Goodnight, angel." --- The world changed overnight. A mysterious system appeared in everyone's minds announcing the detection of a "Breach." Monsters unlike anything humanity had ever seen before began to emerge, immediately ending one-third of the world's population. And that was just in the beginning. Every father wants to be their daughter's hero. It's an unspoken rule written into every man's DNA. But most fathers aren't pitted up against eight legged abominations. Frank was just an ordinary man; no training, no experience, just depression and a four year old. Yet, he was all that stood between Ana and certain death. If that's the way it was, then he couldn't back down. He made a promise, and he would keep it or die trying. Luckily, the world wasn't entirely merciless. This "System" granted humanity a fighting chance: otherworldly gifts and powers that defied the laws of nature. While Frank's gift wasn't all sunshine and rainbows, it did give him power. Power enough to hopefully keep his daughter safe, and punish the monsters that dared threaten her in the first place!
The Story of John you were wanting to do
On Earth war was extremely common for thousands of generations and throughout that a single family stood out for it's members being involved in all of the world's wars throughout history. These indivuals were usually legends in the heart of battle. Eventually humanity evolved warfare had also evolved and so did these family members than came peace. The descendents began to lose the ability to fight gradually eventually came members who could no longer fight at all. They were in building and destruction before they became farmers. Thirty nine generations of farmers later became a family of fishers. Forty generations later the youngest son of the family was killed in a car accident at the age of sixteen. His girlfriend was devastated by that and had taken her life soon after. After he died his soul was brought before God he says "Am I dead?" God says "Yes you have died in a tragic accident I am willing to give you a second chance at life" The boy says "What's the price?" God says "You'll be reincarnated in a different world one with magic monsters and the likes" The boy says "I accept thank you" God reincarnated the boy. The girlfriends soul soon after appears before God he says "Hello you have unfortunately died this is very tragic" The girl says "Agreed I wish that I could have been with my beloved in the afterlife" God says "I reincarnated him to another world" The girl says "Please send me to the same world" God says "Sure I don't see any reason to keep a love so strong that even death and reincarnation can't break it" The girl says "Thank you so much" God reincarnated her to the same world.Lengkap

Content Warning-This story is meant for mature audiences. It features adult language, references, situations, sexual content, graphic violence, and gore. Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.

I've been on the run for three years. I'm not the first, but I certainly won't be the last. Even if it means to drag others down to hell with him.
