"You're friends with Allie, right?"
"Yeah, what's it matter?" I asked, unable to fight the smile that being around him brought.
"Well.." His voice lowered "Maybe you could talk to her about me, talk me up." He shrugged sheepishly
"Talk you up?" I asked, laughing a little at the irony of the situation. He rolled his eyes "Yeah, you know... Help a friend out." He smiled, like it was that easy.
