Somewhere in the murky future, the city-state of New Hollywood stands like a jewel by the ocean. It is one of the few remaining strongholds of civilization. It is an idyllic land where people live prosperously and free of crime. It is a place where celebrities walk among its populous like demigods. And the only thing threatening its peace is the shadowy Pan Global Alliance.
An ultra-militaristic coalition of rival city-states, the PGA launch covert terror attacks against the New Hollywood government and its citizens. Luckily, the city's leaders - the Executives - are there to ensure the safety of this island of tranquility.
At least this is how it all seems to Owen Stewart before a chance encounter reveals the truth to him and changes his life for ever.
Onetime star reporter, now fugitive from justice, Owen must fight for his life and rebuild his identity, as all the forces of the city are turned against him. And somehow, he has to expose the truth to the rest of the populous or die in the attempt.

I Was Owen Stewart is the first story of The Times of New Hollywood, a series of interlaced tales exploring the canals and waterways of the great future metropolis.

At first I thought I'd pick something a bit out of my comfort zone (so.... NOT SciFi for once...) to expand my horizon, but when I saw a prompt about time travel I was immediately inspired. Please keep in mind, all of this is WIP! The title, cover, and some of the content might change at any time... I have an outline and I worked hard to come up with a compelling and consistent story line, but due to the nature of the story (timey whimey stuff!) I might have to revise things a few times as I write. I'm grateful for any feedback and I hope you enjoy :)
