This is my life story. I, Olyvia Myrinda Brown, have finally decided to share it with the world. This isn't for you. This isn't to make you feel better about your life. This is for me. Maybe this story will help me climb out of the rut I've dug myself in. Maybe it'll further my descent into madness. I don't want your pity. I don't want you to look at me like a kicked puppy. I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. Laid upon the pages of this book is a story. This is an autobiography. I struggled with writing this and, as you will soon understand, though I knew how to write it, writing it and thinking about it was difficult.
