Ellana, her mother, and her brother join a new pack in order to get away from their abusive pack leader/father. Lana's mother believes they would be safest in her old pack, but Lana is skeptical given the packs reputation. While there Lana becomes friends with half-breeds. Omega twins Delilah and Chase, only of that status because their mother in human. Everyday that passes Ellana grows more wary of their new home. Only a few things offer her enjoyment. The first being able to see her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and even her nieces/nephews she had no clue existed. She had no clue they existed because of her father who forbade mention of her mother's family, always saying they died a tragic death. The second thing she enjoyed was being able to have friends, who did not fear her, and being able to leave the house without a guard. Though she rarely does as when she does she feels like she is being watched, even when she isn't alone she feels like she is being watched. Which makes her uncomfortable. Not long, a few months, after their move to their new home her father declares war on the pack. Wanting her, her mother, and her brother back, mainly Lana though. A big reason being that without them he is unable to strike deals with other packs by bargaining off his wife for a night or two, maybe more. The war of all wars started, all because of Lana.
