Steph has always been the girl that hides behind the multiple shields of hers, an unnoticed person you pass in the school's hallway and a random who sits in the back of your classroom.
Until she finds the most popular girl of school...not so popular...or alive anymore.
Suddenly Steph is far from invisible but instead the centre of gossip and fame, just for finding the schools most popular girl dead. And it doesn't help that one of the school's most handsome boys, Gavin, is suddenly giving her attention.
Is he only just noticing her now when he should have years ago if his feelings are true? Or is he another who just wants to use her? But what is nerving Steph more is that finding out that her bland life can be only blamed on one person, herself.
Coupled with the fact that she's got targets on her head, death threats, centre of attention.....well, things aren't always going to go to plan, let along end with a happily ever after.
At the end of the day Steph's going to step out on the other side an all new person. But will she be in one piece? Or does Gavin really have the band-aids to her heart?
