"Hello m'lady- oh you, look different Ladybug are you ok?" Chat asked
"I feel fine, no I feel amazing, better than ever!"
Something was wrong. Chat knew Ladybug too well to know that she wasn't ok. He couldn't shake off the feeling.
"That's great-" He played along, but was cut off
"Except, it's not 'Ladybug' anymore" she spat
What was going on? Chat's eyes stared at her confused.
"It's Dark Heart" she said, full of venom.
...
Marinette gets akumatized and Chat is left alone to try and save her.
A miraculous story about true love, facing your fears, nightmares, friends and demons.
And keeping promises, no matter what the cost.

Chat Noir's one desire is to protect and assist his lady, even when it means putting his own life in jeopardy. Marinette's deepest fears come true when his ride or die sentiment leaves him cold at her feet. Ashamed and guilt-ridden, she turns her miraculous in to Master Fu and asks him to find someone else for the job, but something far more sinister is brewing, and with no LadyBug to come to the rescue, who will Paris, and more importantly, Chat Noir, turn to to save them in their time of need?
Written over the course of only a few days, this is a short story that I don't plan on lengthening into a full length tale. I also don't plan on editing unless requested repeatedly. This is a first and only draft, and one of the only works the perfectionist in me has actually let me finish.

I hate that anyone has to say this, but please do not plagiarize off of this story. If you are inspired by it, by all means be inspired, but I put a lot of thought and effort into this story and would be devastated if someone stole it in an attempt to pass it off as their own. We're all writers here, and should all have respect for one another's work.
