Annabeth was a genius. No use denying iat at this point. She was also only in ninth grade, but already taking Calculus.
Annabeth was beautiful, but not fake. Her grey eyes and long lashes were not coated by mascara or covered by contacts. Her beachy blonde waves were not ringlets, nor did she try to do anything to change them, beside a classic ponytail. Her skin was a natural tan.
Maybe that's why Percy found her endearing.
