As someone who lives with depression and anxiety, a lot of my thoughts are bound to not be very pleasant. But hey, some of them are quite philosophical and positive. But that's rare. Join me on my journey through sadness, happiness, curiosity, mystery, and so much more. I was inspired to make a collection of my poems, and I decided to just do it. ❝ 𝙛𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙙𝙖𝙮𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙨 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙚 𝙖 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙙𝙖𝙮𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙨 𝙗𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 ❞ hi, it's me clara again and this time around i've decided to head forwards a new route in my songwriting- possibly a side of my songwriting you've never seen. you've probably read my heartbreak songs, and that's great, but i've moved on to a new chapter of my songwriting and there's truly nothing like this. i feel like i've begun again, but at the same time i'm going back to the basics. just know this feelings not rare, and i'm still figuring out this coming of age. it's all coming down like the aglow shore of the waterfall, whilst the moonlight reflects their light across. i'm not even trying to be poetic rn, i'm just simply referencing songs that you'll soon see and i'm so excited!! i really do hope you'll enjoy these, just like you enjoyed 'sweet misery'?! i've come a long way since then and there's so much new songs to come! Book 1 in the Solace universe HAPPY ENDING I SWEAR!! Idk why it won't say completed, but it is, I promise 🫡 ( 1 day + 11 hours are for the book, any time after that is bonus chapters!) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (𝒆𝒙𝒄𝒆𝒓𝒑𝒕 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 7) I'm sprawled out on the grass with my head in her lap, facing away from her and looking at the swarm of children. Her fingers comb through my hair and occasionally, her nails will scratch against my scalp, making my eyes roll to the back of my head. Fuck that feels good. We haven't spoken in some time, and honestly that's not a bad thing. Sometimes words don't need to be exchanged. The fact that we can sit in silence and be comfortable with one another is louder than meaningless words ever will be. I love this. Just being near her, being in her bubble, enjoying her presence. Peace. "Solace?" "Salazar?" "...Do you think we can stay like this forever?" "Forever is a long time, Elias. You might get bored of me." I flip around instantly, head still in her lap, but now I'm able to look at her face. Her gorgeous face that now has a confused look and furrowed eyebrows. She's so fucking beautiful.
