The world acts like it cares, when really all that matter's is how beautiful you are to the world. The world twists your perception of beauty into a particular idea that you agree with. The others, the ones who try to become what the world wants in the way of beauty, are like Lola. It was no more than three simple words that set her off on a trail that she could not turn back from. She was consumed by counting the bones she could see and the weight that she lost each time she skipped breakfast. Spiraling into anorexia, depression and self harm she came a balancing act teetering on the edge and this is her story.

Life as a child was amazing. Your weight didn't matter. Your clothes didn't matter. Your parents money didn't matter. All that mattered was who you were going to play with, but that's all gone now. My sister hates me, my mom has no time for me, and my dad, well he left me. My life has been one whirlwind after another. Except I'm content with it, till it all comes crashing down.
