Sophia and her father, Markus, rose from the ashes of the fire that took the majority of the small town they live in. Years passed, things were being rebuilt, and Sophia believes that she is starting a new life, the teenage daughter of the "Fortunate Farmer". She has started to get over the things she had lost while she was young, making new friends and experiencing new things. 

Though, things start to turn on their head when a rather famous figure around the town is murdered, torn apart. Nobody really knows who did it and blames it on a beast that snuck into town, but Sophia believes that the suspects might be closer to home. Before the attack, two new people moved into the town.
