Emma is a seventeen year old girl who is being drained of everything- hope, friends, even her desire to live. Her abusive, drunk dad hates her, the cheerleaders at school make her life hell. Her few friends love her to death and will do anything to make her stay, to show her how much she's worth fighting for... but they don't realize how on the edge she is. Emma is convinced that everyone will leave her in the end, so she pushes everyone away. Everyone is slowly losing her, and she's losing herself. She doesn't want to leave, not just yet, but she's struggling to find a reason to stay. And just as she's discovering these things, she finds herself coming dangerously close to losing them.
