April Anderson developed schizophrenia as she became a teenager. She became less focused on school, stopped taking care of herself, became distant/antisocial. She feels hopeless. She's stuck in the machine of society. One day, she hears something...a boy her age trying to get her attention. They quickly become best (and only) friends. They learn each other's deepest thoughts and it becomes Nathan's goal to do everything he can for April. He can't bare to see his only friend so hopeless. What will they uncover about their town...and each other? Note: (Their relationship is up to reader interpretation. 😁)
