What is it about Kuda that makes her different? 

Dr Kuda Chilume's life in a small village called Jakalas II, in Botswana, has been ordinary, more or less. She thinks she's normal. Believes it actually, but strange things keep happening to her. The closer she gets to her thirtieth birthday, the more atypical her life becomes. As the secrets of her birth and life start emerging, the more she realises just how much her life is anything but ordinary.

When the good Dr Jake Dawn comes to Jakalas II, his first confrontation with Kuda sets a tone for their relationship going forward. Intense dislike at first sight is an understatement but what they don't know is that they have to work together to resolve the strangeness that has always been a part of Kuda's life. 

While Kuda wants to strangle him three quarters of the time, she is inexplicably drawn to him. What she doesn't know is that both their lives depend on the decisions that the both of them have to make.
