I peered over at a little girl laying on a cot, shivering and clutching a stuffed teddy bear. "Hi there," cooed Avianna. "Where's your mom?" She asked. The child shrugged. "Mommy told me to run here. Mommy is gone now." "Do you have a daddy?" She shook her head 'no'. I looked over again - this time, every one was laying on their cots. There were millions. At every door, 2 guards stood with guns, glancing at the windows every moment. I knew we were safe, but I still found it uneasy - I was even scared. I stared at the ceiling for about half an hour, but it was not boring at all. It was hard to think something was boring - when your life was at risk every second. "Max," Avianna gently shoved me. "I'm going to share a cot with her - her name is Lila and she's 4 years old. Ok? We'll be on the cot next to you." I nodded. "Goodnight, everyone. If you snore, we recommend you go to the second floor and sleep up there. Thank you. Lights out." The whole place suddenly went dark. But it was still silent. Silent, except for the groans of killers we'd heard outside. I heard a low grumble from the crowd. "...them. It's scaring me, this place can't be safe! You know what? I'll just pay them. Two million for them to take us to a safe island. I will do so tomorrow. Night." That person was clearly dumb - money meant nothing in this world... you could just steal anything you wanted, or more importantly needed. I shut my eyes and went to sleep.
