"You never really understood how much purpose you have in this world. It's not as bad as you make it, however you plan to view your life in your perspective is your choice. Just remember, it wasn't a worthless love." ~ Lyra Dean
17 year old Charlotte Brooks has had a tough past with family, relationships, drama, etc. You name it, it's happened to her. Having to constantly steal food and clothing for survival, it has taken quite a big toll on her mental life. School is the only place where she can find comfort, and unlike any young adult, her studies teach her about the world around her. Even with all the tragedies that have occurred in the past, her positive attitude makes each day count.
On the other hand, 17 year old Westley Cox lives the wealthy life. With rich parents and an expensive mansion, you can say that life has it made for him. Cocky, arrogant, and stubborn, when he wants something, he'll get it. After a serious incident that caused his parents to send him to a public school, he has started to learn that not everything will be handed to him on a silver platter. Of course, his attitude doesn't help.
On one particular day, the unexpected happens, and they cross paths. However, it's not like any regular cliché teenaged love story. The good girl and the bad boy? I think not.
