Anna Rey Moore was always different. It comes with the family name. You see, most people in her family have, ah.. powers. You know, mind-reading, fire-breathing, super fast.. Things like that.
These powers may make life interesting, but it also puts a target on the Moore family's back. When a group of evil men storm the Moore family house, bad things happen to everyone in the Moore family- and some people who aren't. 
Brennan, a young man with dark actions and good intentions, finds Anna and helps her escape. She will be safe.. for now.
But time is running out until her eighteenth birthday, and Anna isn't ready for what comes next.
