Sorry, this got published too soon, my friends hate me. Anyways here is a description that I'm not to proud of: (It will be changed)

Ash and her five friends, Dale, Porter, Clint, and Todd have gotten superpowers. They each have a dominant power that they are best at but their sub-powers are just as useful. When they island that they got their powers at becomes a popular tourist attraction they need to stop people from getting their own powers, because there are so many super powers that they couldn't even  fathom. And to keep this from the other half of their social group, it's tearing them all apart from the other half. Before Ash, Dale, Porter, Clint, and Todd can stop them a few kids at their school get super powers. And lets just say they aren't using them for the good of anyone, or anything.All Rights Reserved

Shortlisted for the Open Novella Contest 2019 • Being a Supervillain is tough. Between managing a secret lair and making sure your mom doesn't stop loving you because you keep telling everyone she's dead, it's a really hard business to be good at? Add to that, the fact that somehow you got arrested because your cat sitter didn't take the day off and then you go around expressing your unconditional love for pancakes in a Super holding cell because technically they can't put you in a proper prison and you don't really have a choice because lawyers are expensive? And then, you realise your best friend is plotting go take over your spot as the greatest villain there ever was? Okay, maybe not the greatest, but you do come pretty close to it! To top it off, there's that one Superhero who's just so completely gorgeous, you couldn't imagine any harm coming to them? Because they're just that precious? I guess that makes me a Supervillain with minor time travel superpowers and a huge crush on a not so powerful Superhero? And all you have to do is protect yourself and everyone you love from your ex best friend/sidekick --because let's face it that's the highest level of praise for a wretched traitor here--and you also have to get out of Super Holding somehow? What could go wrong? Right?

Before you read any of this, please know that I hate how I wrote this book and there's are major plot holes. I want to rewrite it but I can't find any motivation. I wouldn't suggest reading if you can't stand a couple confusing parts. Also there's supposed to be a sequel but this book was so shitty I can't stand to make one. ~~~~~~~~ "I never thought that something as simple as choosing to walk home instead of getting a ride would change my life so drastically." ------- Charisma Jones was just another kid who never spoke out. She wasn't shy, nor was she outspoken. She kept to herself. She was stepped on at school and bullied by those who thought she was "weird" or "a freak". She allowed them to do it, not wanting to draw anymore attention to herself. She was fine with her life how it was. But it all changed the night she left the party without a ride. ------- "I sped up walking when the car slowed down beside me. When it stopped fully I started panicking. I sprinted down the street enveloped in darkness. I thought I lost the creepy car when I heard a pop and felt a stab of pain in my side. Looking down I saw the bright feathers of a dart and my vision turned black." ------- She was altered. Now, she's back with a grudge to all those people who were cruel to her and this time, she not going to back down.

A group of four chosen friends acquire superhuman abilities to fight off the evil forces of the galaxy. The humble beginnings of the four don't go so well, but always add a thrill to their lives. This is an absolutely terrible book. I hate this one, but I really want to fix it up. What say you? I'm really asking for constructive criticism here, so go crazy picky. I made this one a while ago, and I think I just wanted to make a cool superhero story without considering an actual story to tell or an ultimate goal to be reached. As much as I can improve, I'd like to. Let me know what you thought.

Just tell me in the comments and I will correct them. Also, this is the first story I publish and I know it is lame, but I do it for the experience. I know it is horrible and everything goes really fast and slow at the same time and there are plot-holes and so many other damn things that I can't count at the moment... Anyway. They were all born with strange powers--powers that nobody could explain, and that put everybody around them in danger. Taken from their parents, the children were raised apart from society. They served a particular purpose. Nothing would go wrong. Until something does... or a lot of somethings.

Their sophomore year is just about to start and they decided to go shopping for new clothes for school and end up going into a magical store that they think is a 100% normal store. In this particular store, they each find a beautiful necklace that they think represents their personality. But what they don't know is that they actually just picked up an incredible, hard responsibility to handle. There are five different elements, death, fire, water, air, and life. Who will be there to help them on their journey? Or will they just have to tackle this on their own? Will they be able to rise to the responsibility? Or will they just crash and burn?
