Ash and her five friends, Dale, Porter, Clint, and Todd have gotten superpowers. They each have a dominant power that they are best at but their sub-powers are just as useful. When they island that they got their powers at becomes a popular tourist attraction they need to stop people from getting their own powers, because there are so many super powers that they couldn't even fathom. And to keep this from the other half of their social group, it's tearing them all apart from the other half. Before Ash, Dale, Porter, Clint, and Todd can stop them a few kids at their school get super powers. And lets just say they aren't using them for the good of anyone, or anything.

At fifteen, he's got more important things to do than fight the infamous Vinicus Cauldwell. With his single mother having recently lost her job, Max is determined to help his family get back up on its feet. The publicity and pressure that comes with being a superhero would be too much to handle right now. But it's hard to fly under the radar, when you can literally fly. Meanwhile, Vinicus Cauldwell enjoys the power he has as Murkbourne's most feared super-villain. For once, he can sit back and relax without being pestered by the police. That is, until Max arrives. Vinicus isn't happy about having to fight a child, but he can't let Max find out. After all, super-villains can't be "good people"... Can they? We can't all be born heroes. A group of four chosen friends acquire superhuman abilities to fight off the evil forces of the galaxy. The humble beginnings of the four don't go so well, but always add a thrill to their lives. This is an absolutely terrible book. I hate this one, but I really want to fix it up. What say you? I'm really asking for constructive criticism here, so go crazy picky. I made this one a while ago, and I think I just wanted to make a cool superhero story without considering an actual story to tell or an ultimate goal to be reached. Now, not only does he have to deal with school, his almost non existent social life and his aggravating younger brother, but he also has to fight super villains and learn to control his new found powers to avoid blowing his cover to the world...and it is a lot harder than he anticipated. Prepare for a roller coaster ride of lame one liners and painfully awkward adolescent behaviour, along with bromances and romances, breakups and make ups, and even some cliché superhero behaviour, villains who hold a grudge, and really dorky super suits. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. The tales of the teenager, Maximillian Hunter, as he traverses through high school and battles evil villains, his teen angst, and himself. This original story draws inspiration from my childhood and teenage experiences. It also draws inspiration from media I'd enjoyed when I was younger. This is Chapter 1. The Beginning. On his first day in his new school, fifteen year old Maximillian Hunter finds out that he's not as alone as he'd earlier thought. However, darkness lurks in every corner. *** Maximillian Hunter, the son of the famous ex-actress Julianne Hunter, has a simple problem. High school. The problem being that this teenage boy, for varying reasons, just can't seem to stay put in one school. A part of the reason being that fitting in is not a thing that Maximillian Hunter has ever been good at. After all, there is nothing quite like Maximillian Hunter. However, contrary to what he'd earlier believed, he finds himself making friends who actually seem to like him. And even more contrary to what he believed, he realizes he's not the only abnormal one in Hypercity High. Except that .... .... there are more abnormal things going on in Hypercity. A lot more. Some undeterminable amount of time ago, there was a group of seven friends. But these friends were special. They each had special powers unique to them. One summer, they all meet up in the same hotel for vacation, only to be trapped and captured by evil versions of themselves, known as the 7 Deadly Sins. The friends use their powers- and their wits- to escape and stop the Sins, and their leader/the kids' old enemy, Thomas. Ok so I didn't write this. Some of my friends did and I asked to publish it. @SuperViperT302 was a main writer. I also didn't edit it. All I took out was personal info on them. Too bad her best friend Trey Roberts also happens to be the newest member of the League of Heroes. He might be new to the whole Superhero thing, but he's not going to let Rya get hurt on his watch. Unfortunately, that leaves just one option, for Trey's mysterious partner LP to intervene. For a Hero, he sure does have an off-the-books way of working that causes he and Rya to clash instantly. The more ingrained into her life the Supers become the more desperate Rya is to figure out who's targeting her, and more importantly, who LP is beneath the mask. Rya is willing to do anything for the truth. Before you read any of this, please know that I hate how I wrote this book and there's are major plot holes. I want to rewrite it but I can't find any motivation. I wouldn't suggest reading if you can't stand a couple confusing parts.
