Louis sold his soul to the devil when he was sixteen, tear-stained and miserable, grief wracking his body as the doctors told him his mother had days left to live. His father had fallen to pieces, no more equipped to deal with cancer than Louis was, and his four little half-sisters were confused and scared, scared of the whispered conversations and all the crying. The bills for the chemo and the hospital were piling up and his father wasn't going to work, wasn't getting out of bed, his depression spiraling and Louis couldn't hold it together much more -
