After witnessing Sonic's dark super form whilst on a rescue mission, Sonic's friends want an explanation for the presence of the dark entity in their seemingly carefree hero. Meanwhile, Sonic's dreams are haunted by memories of his early childhood, before he met Tails and the gang. Are the two occurrences linked? Is the hedgehog's easy going attitude just a face?

The Light In The Dark
This is a Sonadow AU where Shadow is an alien from a different universe. He finds Mobius and tries to become the most powerful... but without anyone noticing him. He is trying to become one of them. Over time, he figures out that Sonic is the quote on quote "ultimate lifeform" on Mobius. He tries to become acquaintances with Sonic so he can learn their culture... as things take a turn. Worse than Black Doom or anyone they fought before. Mephiles The Dark has return with new powers and sinister allies that could destroy what Sonic, and everyone been fighting for. Before they could start their search on Chaos Emeralds and fight Mephiles again, the Master Emerald glows up and spoke to them. He told them to find someone who would help them to defeat Mephiles and everything will be restored. Before they could ask, the Master Emerald glows up and teleporting the entire world of Sonic to another world. A mysterious yet magical world where mirrored their world but differently. That's where they meet new allies with special abilities and other creatures as the search for the Chaos Emeralds again who was got spread away. Will they find the person they are looking for and stop Mephiles from destroying everything? (This story is based on Sonic Prime and Sonic X Shadow Generations).
