Long ago, after the Great Turf War, a special color of inkling devoted their lives to ensure the safety of those that lived within Inkolpolis. These inklings lived to defend their home from Octarians, who had done nothing but destroy in the past. They were special and unique, using their minds to conquer all. There, they thrived, protecting the borders from within Octo Valley, entirely withdrawn from inkling society and their colors considered forbidden.
Everything was well, strategies were made, turf wars were won, and rank matches dominated.
Then, the Octarians attacked.
