"Wait up!"  It was after school and Maddie was walking to her bike. Luke's voice sounded behind her, but Maddie didn't stop.  "I have to get home," she replied  She could hear his footsteps behind her, but that didn't stop her. Instead, she quickened her pace.  "Maddie, wait."  Maddie turned and faced him. "Why should I? Look, I really need to get home."  "But I have a good reason."  Luke's voice was playful, almost taunting, as he walked closer to her.  Now that he was inches away, Maddie could see that his eyes weren't just plain blue. They had flecks of amber and navy, and they were rimmed green. And he had freckles, adorable little brown freckles scattered across his cheekbones and across the bridge of his perfect nose...  "And what's that?" Maddie's voice hitched in her throat.  "I need tutoring."  "I doubt that. School just started, like, two days ago." Maddie knew that she was being sarcastic and she was exaggerating, but she didn't care.  Maddie turned on her heel and once more walked towards her bike. Depositing her books in the basket, she swung one leg over the seat.  "So, see you tomorrow at three thirty, at your house? It's a date, then."  With that, he turned and walked to his car, leaving a flabbergasted Maddie behind.  "I never agreed!" Maddie called after him.  But it was too late.  She was already choking on the fumes of his black Lexus convertible. ___________________ At 17, Maddie Parker stood at exactly 5'0 and weighed only 97 pounds. But that was because she was born four months premature. She had exactly two friends in the world.  Until Luke shows up. I said. Elijah let him fall to the ground. Elijah walked away. "She's making you soft Baxter." I look over to who said it. Luke. Elijah ran to him and punched him. "Elijah please!" I cried. Jackson was trying to get him off of Luke. "Chloe might be making me soft but I don't care. I like when I'm around her. You are not going to fucking touch her and think I won't do anything to you." Elijah said while punching him. "Elijah! I love you! Ok?" I said. Elijah stop punching by then his knuckles was bloody and Luke's face looked like it got hit by a car. Elijah got up off of Luke and looked at me. "What? After all I have done to you?" He asked. He walk towards me. Everyone was looking. "You can add Ash and Luke again to your list of saving me from." I laughed. "Well fuck. By the time I marry you that list will be long." He laughed. "Do I drive you crazy?" I asked. He got closer to me. "Yeah but everyone drives me crazy." "Well don't I drive you a little more crazy?" "Shut up and kiss me." Elijah said. He kissed me more intense then he did before. Everyone was cheering for us.

"I love you!" He calls and I stop, turning back to look at him. Calum and Ashton were pulling him back to calm him down. "Delilah!" He sobs loudly and then screams and collapse on the ground, bringing his knees to his chest and tugged roughly on his hair. His sobs were loud and choppy, it broke my heart. Luke looked up at me and I felt like I was drowning in my guilt. "I love you," he whispered, but it looked mouthed from where I was. Then I turned and walked away without another word, needing to find a quite place to bawl my eyes out. ***** When Delilah Clifford's parents die in a tragic house fire, will she ever be the same? "You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it. I guess I didn't put it in my bag... I looked up to thank him, but ended up not being able to find my voice. He's really attractive. Drop dead gorgeous attractive. Hot. He has brown hair that is spiked up in a messy way and shiny chocolate brown eyes that are hard not to stare at. His jawline was firm and he is extremely tall compared to my 5'3" height; he seems like he's 6'1". He looks in good shape -- the white shirt he was wearing showed off his broad muscular chest. He wore a leather-mans jacket from the school over the t-shirt, with black denim jeans, and converse. I swallowed. I snapped out of it and took the paper forcing myself to say "thanks." However, he walked away before I even finished. OK... he obviously isn't interested in the 'new girl' like all the other students are. I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. Out of all the guys that have hit on me in school today he is the only one that has caught my eye -- bad news is that he didn't even bother. "You know him? I'm surprised the cheer-bitch hasn't threatened you yet." Jessica said, her face showing shock. "Um, no I don't know him... and cheer-bitch?" I frowned confused. "She's his ex-girlfriend, but considering she has such a small brain that is a size of a peanut, she won't leave him alone. I mean like seriously, EX; has she not heard of that quote, 'Thanks for the EXperience, Our time has EXpired, now EXit my life.' She is one clueless bimbo. Then again who would leave him alone he is S-E-X-Y!" I laughed. "I am going to love being your friend." I said while I looked back to where he had headed a while ago, but I no longer saw him. I could feel fireworks exploding inside my entire body.
