The government every year tasks its elite soldiers to participate in a nation-wide Cull. Hundreds of children are taken from homes and put into one of four Facilities. While most of them will be offered comfortable lives in the forms of low-ranking militia commandos and government jobs, a few will be groomed to be the successors for the highest office the government has to offer: The Law. To ensure that they would be able to keep ruling the world, The Law started implanting chips into all its citizens. These chips called DEC, as Contained electrical current, it's an electronic chip that looks like a silver dot, these chips allowing The Law and any actual law enforcement to be able to track everyone. And it would help to keep everyone in line and stomp out any pesky notions before they manifested into something bigger, something dangerous. Shirley is known in the Facility as Ten, alongside six others, they have spent years enduring confinement and rigorous testing in order to secure a future as head of the Law. When a group calls themselves the codas breaks into the Facility and kidnaps Ten and the others, she's forced to re-examine her future plans. In the year 2050, post-apocalyptic world, a lone girl must choose between becoming the next-in-line to head a corrupt government or siding with those who wish to see the world a better place. Order and lies, or truth and freedom? Whatever she chooses, one thing is clear: both sides bleed. Shirley should decide if the future she'd been promised since childhood is worth the lies it's built upon. Will Shirley choose the future that's been decided for her, or will she make out one all her own, even if that path leads to her destruction?

Countries have been reassigned as numbers and there are only a few independent states left. The one thing you do not do is cross Princips Ltd, break the law and you can be jailed or even killed. When Kira steals some bread for her starving mother she is caught and put up for slavery. Her new master is known for being brutal, but reputations are not always what they seem, especially when you are taken to one of the most beautiful islands in the world, a far cry from the deprivation of the slums or bright lights of the city.

Every three years a group of two-hundred teens get sent to Earth. After spending two years on Earth, you can choose to go back onto the Ark or to stay on Earth. Most don't survive the first week. They get to either join a Clan, create a new Clan or go solo. If your name is called out, you have to go down. You have no choice. Almost everyone joins a Clan or makes a new Clan. Nobody goes solo, unless you absolutely have to. Or if no Clan accepts you. Every animal on Earth wants to kill humans, they have all mutated after the Nuclear War, all the ones that survived, and are out for human flesh and blood. Bastien Water's name gets called out during the Choosing and he has to try to survive on Earth. While his family grieves thinking that Bastien won't survive but he's out to prove them wrong. Bastien meets new people, makes some friends and make some enemies. Bastien has to face many challenges to survive on Earth. Will he be able to do it? (None of this story is edited... so please bear with me... and the ending is crappy, sorry bout that)

Three hundred years after the fall, the known world is beginning to regain a semblance of order, with the sword the ultimate power once more. But not everything of old was lost, and there are some that will exert deadly effort to obtain what was left behind. Orphaned, plague-marked and mistrusted by the community he lives in, a boy must come to terms with the fact that he is different from everyone else, but is soon the focus of unwelcome and deadly attention. Separated from her father, a young girl has to learn to survive in a foreign land haunted by tribes of ghosts and roving bands of piratical thralls to a sadistic King. A watcher keeps lonely vigil from within a fortress that has been under siege for hundreds of years, while a soldier dies for the twenty-third time, and dies again while wondering if he is going mad. First started in 2015, this story is at 50k+ words, but was removed when a plotting hiccup was encountered. I now intend to split it into three parts, and this is the complete Part 1. Everyone was evacuated from the home planet over 150 years ago. Our planet was dying, it was only a matter of time before our race was wiped out. We now live on a synthetic planet designed and built by our ancestors who came together from all parts of the globe to devise a plan to save us. We have lived peacefully for over a century.. Until now. Our lives were threatened when a mysterious and deadly virus broke out, killing entire communities at a time. The council says that they have a plan; they said that in order to prevent the death of more innocent people they will test every man, woman, and child for signs of the virus. Any person found to have been infected will be quarantined, the ones who die will be given a proper burial while the ones who survive are deemed carriers and are to be sent to the home planet to prevent further outbreak. I was prepared for the people I know and some I love being taken away for the greater good, but I never would have expected that among the list of people being taken from my community, that I would be one of them.. I survived the quarantine. Now for the survival of my planet I, and the other Carriers must be sent to the home planet. I'm going back to Earth. (This is not based on The 100 but there are similarities.) (Some violent themes, but other than that is entirely clean.) Please comment if you have any questions or concerns. It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise.
