When Louis rescues a young woman, Alex, from being brutally attacked, he didn't want anything in return. But Alex insists that her friendship be his reward. As the two become closer as friends, feelings for one another start to emerge. Their relationship is eventually put to the test with many problems including a clingy ex and a betrayed friend.
