"You're not who you're supposed to be!" She yelled at me. I looked up hopelessly at my mate. When I found her I was happy, but it was quickly forgotten.
"You're a girl!" She screamed. I shrugged and nodded.
"Yeah. I guess we're just gay now," I said with an accidental giggle at the end. This angered her further. Sapphire hadn't been an alpha long, and her anger was a bit uncontrollable.
"I will not leave my boyfriend, and I will not accept you. You're an omega and I could never love you," she finished with a twist to the knife she had plunged into my stomach. Metaphorically of course. But it felt real.
"You're worthless, Emerald," she said with a shake of her head, "and I declare you officially an omega."
