Horsemoon's Silence
Horsekit has a great reputation. Her mother, Cinderstripe, saved the clan from the Twolegs. You'd be respected too, right? Until she became mute and disfigured. An accident involving a fox, kills her brother, and permanently injures her. Stormstar, the leader, doesn't think that she could become a warrior, what she wanted to be when she was old enough. So he appoints her as the medicine cat apprentice AND a warrior apprentice. He says she has to train in both positions. And she has three moons to train in both, and pass both assessments to chose what she wants to be. If she fails one, Stormstar chooses what her future holds. But training in both ranks isn't easy. It takes a toll on the body, mind, and emotions. So Horsepaw looses friends, gains friends, makes sacrifices, and finds out shocking secrets. Starclan's Chosen
Littlekit is born in ForestClan, to her mother BirdSong and her father SparrowFlight, and two siblings, Amberkit and Cloudkit. Amberkit is killed during a dog attack to her camp, and her brother is gravely injured. Littlekit watched their clan medicine cat heal her brother and is amazed to how he recovered after her treatment. She becomes a medicine cat apprentice. Despite her desperation to become a medicine cat, Littlepaw doesn't believe in StarClan. She struggles to hide this information from her mentor, and continues her training. Yet little did Littlepaw know, was that she was chosen to a prophecy from Starclan. Will she be able to fulfil the prophecy without believing in StarClan? An Unofficial Complex Medicine Cat Guide.
We do not own nor claim to own any part of the Warriors series by the Erin Hunter group or any part of the Roblox game Warrior Cats: Ultimate Edition. This is an unofficial guide to medicine cats! We compiled this both for our own use and fun and to post for others to do so too! We've used as many sites as we could and read what we could of the books to base this on, as well as to confirm with real-life sources on certain parts (for example, is so and so poisonous to cats). This has herbs (canon and fanon), practices, procedures, the medicine cat code, unspoken medicine cat rules, even tips on roleplaying, and much more! You're welcome to use this as needed to reference and such, but if you can please put us in the credits just as we have with all those we used! Every disaster that threatens a Clan means StarClan will come and save you. You'll receive a prophecy that will save everything you love. The peril is vanquished in a battle, and there is no need for sleeping with one eye open anymore. StarClan will forever watch over you from your nest and keep you safe. That is what has been passed down from generations. Not every tale has to end like that: StarClan saving everyone with the chosen cat, everyone loving the hero or heroine - but it always does. So facing a challenge such as missing cats shouldn't be a challenging task. Moons pass on, cats keep disappearing faster and faster; nobody is doing anything to prevent the case. Everyone is relying on StarClan to send the prophecy to their medicine cat, just hoping that one day, the fiasco will end. Yet that's not the way fear works its way into hearts. Warriors, once brave and strong, now cowering behind one another. Apprentices with their eagerness to learn, now afraid of the outside world and going missing. Queens, always caring for their kits, now fearful of losing them to the mystery. Elders, who are as wise as the deepest river, now unable to provide an answers. With leaf-bare creeping up, the Clans are preparing for the harsh weather. Preparing for another season should be like gathering moss for the elders, but not this time. This time, the Clans are struggling just to assemble a hunting patrol and maintain borders. Forcing time out of daily tasks is asking the impossible. Leaf-bare is going to take the remaining lives of the cats that are lucky enough to even make it through leaf-fall.
