My parents murdered, my baby brother in a foster home and me, lost. I'm actually lost. I got stuck in this forest and I am trying to get out.
My life is dedicated to my horse, Storm. I've got proof from the rope burn on my hands to the worn boots on my feet. I would be devastated if anything happened to him. But now something bigger has happened.
Through the rimu trees and gorse bushes I see them.
His eyes.
His bright green eyes.
They stare at me like a death sentence but it is definitely the opposite. If I hadn't gotten lost in the first place I never would have met him.
