The world had been under attack by what is known as the 'Shadows' terror hit each edge of the land, millions and millions die by their hands each day. Only the last airs of the throne remain and now the shadows head for them. The queen had just birthed a healthy baby boy, but for the blood line to survive she must give him up to the leader of the shadows. The queen wouldn't part with the boy... That night the whole family was slaughtered. Except one. The boy. The shadows couldn't find him no where in the house. The parents had sent the boy away in a river, in a basket. The leader will not rest until the boy is found, because other wise the boy would mean the fall of all that was their reign on this land. Years have past and the boy is older now, found by a peasant family. One day he will come face to face with who he really is. No peasant. The next king.
