This was my entry for a contest held by the auther, Robert Digitale. I won the contest alongside two other adults and I was featured on the Press Democrat! The context of this chapter was a detective and a police officer(whom was getting blackmailed by the villian) are trying to catch the serial killer. :) enjoy!

Completed!! -- I could hear him running behind me. "HELP!" I started to scream the words repeatedly. I felt like I was the stupid, helpless girl in a horror film. I ran right into a fence and fell down. I got back up and turned around. Blake was right there. He pinned me up against the wood. "You are so stupid!" He chuckled. He grabbed a bottle of some sort and smiled. "Nighty night." He whispered. He sprayed the substance all over me until I blacked out. -- 16 year old Cathy moves from a small Rhode Island town to the big Austin, Texas. Not thinking twice, she answers all of them. Cathy feels guilty afterward, and never wants to talk to him again. But he wants to meet her. The Test
Going through my pictures, I went to the one that I had just taken, and the phone slowly slipped out of my grasp. What had escaped my notice before is that the couch I had taken the picture on was against a window, which showed the backyard of the house. But in this picture, it wasn't an empty backyard. No, behind my smiling face was another one, outside the window. It was his face. Covered with a black ski mask, watching me. *** All 19-year-old Layna wanted to do was forget about the guy that broke her heart, and move on with her new boyfriend Brian. But instead, she unwittingly attracted the attention of a stalker. Someone who had been watching her every move for a month, plotting and planning for the perfect moment when he could take her. What Layna never would have expected was that when he finally kidnaps her, she would have to undergo "The Test". The Test that the girls before her had gone through. The one they failed, and payed heavily for. Will she pass The Test or will she die like the others?Complete

"Who are you?" I asked, still left in the shock and scared state that came over me when gunshots were heard. I look up to his face which was hidden behind a dark shadow and bit my lips as silence fell between us. "Who I am is none of your business," he said in a cold, husky voice that somehow caused me to shiver. A frown made it's way onto my face as I looked at the mysterious man who refused to tell me who he is. He stood tall in front of me as we fell into silence again but only for a few seconds before he began to slowly move towards me. His face slowly being exposed to the light, giving me a glimpse of his icy grey eyes. "let's go" he spoke again before turning around. I hesitated a bit before turning around and for some reason followed behind him. ─── ･ ｡ﾟ☆: *.☽ .* :☆ﾟ. ─── Ariana is a 26-year-old young lady, employed at a famous bar in New York City. She loves her job to her heart and counts it as a blessing since it helps in paying her bills. So everything was going quite well in her life, except for the fact that her boss hated her, but apart from that she was okay and everything was going well...but all of that came to an end on one specific night when she found herself in the arms of danger after encountering a mysterious yet dangerous man, who had also happen to have a lot of enemies. And since she had encountered him, she had been targeted as a worker for him and so she was promised that her life will be protected by the mysterious man as a returned favor for her saving his life. She has now entered a world where chaos, lies, hurt, death and truth reside and will find herself in a place where though decisions are thrown at her. So, What will she do when she's being chased down by enemies that seek to take her innocent life? Can she trust a man, she never knew, to protect her? Can she....survive? Nightmares Do Come True
A serial killer is on the loose. He hunts his victims based on their nightmares which he uses against them. Watch as agents rush against the clock to save victims from falling prey. One Agent will do anything to protect the one he cherishes. There will be sex scenes so I have marked this appropriately as an adult book with mature content. This will be the only warning. I won't put further warnings in my story. I'm still working on this story but I've got a quite a lot of chapters already written. I'll post the prologue and first 5 chapters and from there I'll see. I don't want to post too much and have y'all catch up with me. I want to keep you from having a waiting game, but I'm not going to make any promises. I hope y'all enjoy! Another note from me. I wrote these first chapters a year ago so I forgot that the serial killer does sexually assault his victims as their deaths are a turn on for him. They don't know it though.
