A little short story of what happened to Vernicia:
Vernicia-don't you just hate it when you had the once in a lifetime love well it never happened to me I was abused from the start . so I was always treated differently from of how I was always covered up in baggy old-stinky clothes, the bruises all over me and especially the one on my neck, My dad was an abuser , where my mom was died. He killed her, nobody knew except me. School is like prison people bully me all the time I mean what I was born with this life why cant you ignore me and get on with your life. One day I found a best friend well had one it turns out, he just used me as a dare and after that he got hurt I don't know how but he did he's in a wheelchair in the hospital. I always visit but then since I've started to not because I got abused every time I'm home late. He told me that he's so sorry and that he would change for me he didn't realize what he did because of stupid popularity at school. He told me to take the pain when my day came. I thought he meant when I die...so I just ran out and stopped seeing him. Abused by everyone except this boy named Ethan, You might think oh so he's the one and awe yeah he's nice too you, but NO He's even worse. Im INVISIBLE to him. Wont even look my way or when he gets called out in my direction it's like he stares through me. What a lovely life.
