Last year (2015), at my church youth group, we were taught a bit about how to write lyrics using existing tunes. We were given the tune "Greensleeves" and told to write some lyrics to it. This is what I came up with.

His Heart to Love
"Been about you, since I met you and imma keep it that way" You're special to me. You're the only one who I wouldn't mind losing sleep for, the only one who I can never get tired of talking to, and the only one who crosses my mind constantly throughout the day. You're the only one who can make me smile without trying, bring down my mood without the intention to and affect my emotions with every action of yours. I can't explain with just words how much you mean to me, but you're the only one I'm afraid of losing and the one I want to keep in my life. So, please don't leave me. ~April 18, 2021 ~July 21, 2021 Rankings: #4 in mentaldisorder 9/16/2021 #6 in highschoolsweethearts 9/16/2021 #38 in urban 9/16/2021 #14 in blacklove 9/16/2021 #5 in angerissues 9/16/2021 #12 in urbanromance 9/16/2021 #3 in bwbm 9/16/2021 #20 in contemporarylit 9/16/2021 #29 in urbanstory 9/16/2021 #2 in africanamerican 9/16/2021Complete

I headed for the front door and before I could push it open I felt arms wrap around my waist "Stop" I kept thrashing in his arms "Come on stop, your gonna hurt yourself more" I didn't listen I just kept trying "Keep her arm as still as you can!" Someone yelled and I felt hands grab my right arm and then something prick my skin "Just stop!" Slowly I collapsed in their arms and my eyes shut. Not how this was meant to happenComplete
She -in editing-
"She showed other people how poor of a person I was and they bullied me right alongside her. It only got worse from there. The day I attempted suicide, she had told me to kill myself." Warning: some parts can be triggering I wrote this back in 2016 so it is CRINGEY. You have been warned.Complete
POEMS
Hi guys, Here I am going to post the poems which I wrote. They are usually the mixture of Depression and sorrow. But I also write happy poems. Remember all this is just the thoughts and feelings in my head.
Hope
"So why'd you do it? I mean why'd you pick Hope of everything?" She mumbled while softly tapping the strings of the guitar. I paused, silently contemplating. "I don't know, I guess..." She looked at me, her fingers still softly dancing against the strings. "-I guess I wanted a reminded or what I should think about after what happened" ♡ Hope tried to heal, tried to run from her past by giving herself a brand new beginning to a life that was tainted, but she couldn't quiet grasping why she couldn't move on completely. Hours of therapy, mornings of remembrance, it's all like an impending test to her but for reasons unknown to her everything just wasn't moving into place just yet.Complete
