Ainslee has traumatic brain injury, caused by a horse. To help her, her parents get her a therapeutic horse, hoping that she'll relearn how to love and care for other beings. But the outcome is worse than anyone could have expected.  (This is a short story I finished recently for a contest, just thought I might share it, see what people thought.)
