The Butterflies were a group at Brooke High School that was made up of many sexual orientations and they were a group where anyone who was gay, bi, trans, etc. could go and be a part of something whole. They were all about being understanding, but when the administration office told them they could be nothing more than a club, they got angry. Very angry.
Before, anyone knew it the Butterflies were starting riots in different parts of the city. And then, they went for the White House. The violent protest resulted in some of them getting arrested while the others ran away.
17 year old, Lana Bianchi, was a good and normal person. She had straight A's, a steady boyfriend, and she was going to Princeton. But, when she saw the Butterflies protest, her family fell apart. Her brother was arrested.
Now her life was being thrown upside down as she teamed up with the cocky leader of the butterflies, Graham Adamson, to save the Butterflies and her brother. And maybe even herself.
