What inspires us? Is it love or friendship? Or is it the pain that we feel? What gives us that rush to write down a piece of text; or draw; or write a melody? What makes that so god damn beautiful?
Many of these pieces of text are based of true events that have occurred to me or someone in my life. Things I've learned from pain, heartache, the war I'm still fighting, betrayal, love, friendship, strength, loss, grief, joy, confidence. They are personal to me and events in my life.

Love with strings detached
I put on a show only for him in front of hundreds of people. I bring one hand up to my hair flicking them to the other side, trailing that hand down to my sternum and then my boob as I keep swaying my hips from to side, bending my knees as I lower myself a bit to the ground before sharply standing up again and slowly spinning around, circling my hips. I run my hands through the back of my hair before nailing my gaze on his eyes, slowly walking up to him. I watch him as he wets his lips before biting his plumb bottom one, eyes trailing up my body. Once I reach him, I wrap my arms around his neck and run my fingers through his hair as I press my body up against his. His hands shoot out to grab me from my lower waist, pulling me even closer to him as he pushes a leg between mine, staring into my eyes. I turn my head to the side and brush my lips against his ear before licking and biting his earlobe the same way I did at the party before whispering a few words he was dying to hear. "Take me back to your place." ---------- Theo is a 20-year-old university student with a bad temper. Letting go of the past can be a difficult thing to do but a much-needed one to move on. Love is his greatest fear, something that's so beautiful yet can be so painful at times. Can you love someone even if you fear that feeling? THE BAD GIRL'S BOY
Promiscuity is addictive. It's so safe. You are not at risk of getting hurt, physically maybe , But emotionally ? No And the emotional pain is by far the worst. I know this because I've experienced both. Physical pain, from my alcoholic father, sexual abuse from his friends. It hurt, it really did. I have scars to show. But let me tell you, the worst type of hurt is the emotional pain. That pain you get when after years of building a wall around yourself, you FINALLY let someone in. You let that one special person in. You bring down your walls. You give your heart. You let him hold your heart in his palms even though you know the risks. You have so many dreams and fantasies about being with this person forever. And he leads you on. It feels good But then he turns around and crushes your heart. He squeezes the life out of it and you feel pain that you never thought was humanly possible. You feel so much pain you can't breathe. And then , you become cold. You stop feeling. You have no heart anymore. You become heartless, promiscuous, bad, really bad. Yes , that happened to me. Ben did that to me. It hurt. It hurt too much. But now I'm safe . Because I'm the bad girl. The one who doesn't have a heart left to be broken.Complete
I'm Not Crazy
We are not the broken clichés you want us to be anymore. We have transcended beyond the "Good Girl ~ Bad Boy" boxes they tried to put us in. We are so far beyond all that now, that we are finally free of all those stereotypes. The story of us is not the usual cliche "good girl" meets "bad boy" that instantly fall in love. Oh, and after a few almost funny mishaps everything works out perfectly story. Or the other one where the brooding bad boy with a tragic past gets a second chance to become a happy, well-adjusted person again. All thanks to the love of an awesomely perfect popularity princess with a pure heart of gold. Who sees "something special" inside him, that no one else can see ...and sets him on a straight path. All that once in a lifetime fairy dust love, that only exists for perfect pretty popularity princesses in the happily ever after. No, this is the other kind of love story ...the messy kind, that messes peoples lives up irrevocably, for all time. The real kind of love story, that comes hand in hand with hopes and fears, and all that real hurt that burns at your heart. So while our Crazy love might not be as bright and shiny as that fairy dust love is ...our love will kick your loves ass any day of the week, and twice on Sunday. Because our love knows the secret truth about itself. That it's not about how perfectly you fall in love, it's how you get the back up after love kicks your ass sideways, and you come back looking for more. Because our love is that Crazy kind of love, that is so forever you have to fight for it 'till the bitter end ...or die trying.
