The Devil likes his little games and the people who live within his domain are always up for a challenge. When Anabell arrived and began disturbing the turmoil The Devil had created in the hearts and minds of the Capricorn Cliff suicides’ with her goodness, that had somehow remained intact despite her decent into Hell, the gears of his brain began to turn. A new challenge was concocted, the stakes higher than ever before. A return to life in the human world and a fresh start with those the players have grown closest to in death. Anabell and her friends must win against the group of murders whose home in Hell is very close by their own in order to claim the prize.

Begins as a dungeon scenario. Your first perception is utter, all encompassing darkness. No chance to escape fear, now feasting on your bewilderment. A small band of people awake chained to a wall, with no memory of how they got there. Disconcertingly soon know are in a nameless town under the dominion of an unseen overseer. For answers they head toward a distant beacon which hadn't promised freedom and survive doing it. Price of passage through the nightmare is they'll have to fight for their lives past the monsters, challenges and puzzles, thrown at them. Tested mentally and physically. Crushingly godlike the overseer seems, yet doesn't squash what makes for even a band of strangers - bonds, perseverance, will and morality. Not a game when it's your life. May the heartiest prevail. Maribell had a promising life ahead of her, and a family that loved her. She didn't realize how much she took for granted until she lost her life. Through the help of a new friend, will she be able to find the peace she needs? ***** A/N: This story was inspired by a true event that occurred near where I live. A woman (who had kids and a husband) had lost her life. This initially started a spiral of thoughts leading to the creation of this story. There are a lot of mirroring qualities between my life and Maribell's, but unlike the lovely woman who had passed (I personally don't know her, but may she rest in peace), I don't have kids or a significant other, so I had to put my own spin on things.
